(May 2009) Revealing the Non-Secrets   Author Craig Sowell Country United States Language English Genre(s) History Publisher CreateSpace Publication date January 15, 2009 Media type Print ([Paperback]) Pages 334 ISBN ISBN 1440473544 Revealing the Non-Secrets: The History of the Founding and Founders of Delta Upsilon Fraternity, released on January 15th, 2009, discusses the early days of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. The book was written by Craig Sowell. After a fire in 1841 at Williams College, much of the documents on the founding of Delta Upsilon and the early years of the fraternity, as well as documents on the original founders, were lost. However, after eight years of research, Fraternity Historian Craig S. Sowell was able to unearth much of the information that was thought to be lost. Along with the story of the founding of Delta Upsilon, the book also traces the lives of the original 30 founders, including their careers, families, and often their place of burial as well. It also includes trivia on the founders lives, the layout of the dorm buildings at Williams College and the original constitution of Delta Upsilon. The foreword of the book was written by Four Star General Tommy Franks, commander of Allied Forces in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and ended his career as Commander of the United States Central Command, overseeing United States Armed Forces operations in a 25-country region, including the Middle East.
