Benefit for Brandon was an interpromotional professional wrestling event held at the historic Bank Street Armory in Fall River, Massachusetts on July 11, 2008. It was organized by Alliance Championship Wrestling and included 14 other New England-based independent promotions including Big Time Wrestling, Eastern Pro Wrestling, Eastern Wrestling Alliance, Front Row Wrestling, New England Championship Wrestling, No Limit Pro, Northeast Championship Wrestling, Power & Glory Wrestling, Real Deal Wrestling and Showcase Pro Wrestling. The show was held in honor of Brandon Cusick, a local 5-year-old child who had been diagnosed with leukemia, and all proceeds were donated to his family.[1][2] The event, opening with a short presentation by promoter Johnny Fabulous, lasted over four hours. After every match, a five minute intermission was held for raffle drawings. Of the 16 matches, two were matches that pitted wrestlers from different promotions against each other. The undercard included a wild match between BTW Dog Collar Champion Mr. T.A. and Sweet Scott Ashworth which saw brawling in the bleachers and both men using the dog collar chain, trash cans, bathroom and kitchen furnishings and other foreign objects as weapons.[1] An open challenge issued by Scott Lesveque resulted in his team, including Brian Sire and White Trash Chris, losing to Redemption, Tex McCoy and Michael Foster in a 6-man tag team match. In ACW's 4-way "Gold vs. Greed" ladder match, ACW Interstate Champion Iraqnid and "The Heat" Kris Pyro were declared co-winners when Iraqnid grabbed his title while Pyro retrieved the suitcase full of cash.[1][2] The semi-main events saw "The Reflex" Eric Dylan defeat "Blockbuster" Rob Hagan in a hair vs. hair match, RDW's Thorne & The Messiah beat Bloodstone & Marc Quinn and ACW Heavyweight Champion Brickhouse Baker successfully defend his title against G.Q. Smooth. Gorgeous Gino Giovanni made a surprise appearance during the match and attempted to hit Baker but wound up hitting Smooth instead allowing Baker to pin his opponent for the victory.[1][2] Show results July 11, 2008 in Fall River, Massachusetts (Bank Street Armory) # Results Stipulations Times 1 Doug Summers (c) defeated "The Showoff" Mike Paiva (with J.C.
