Uragh Wood Tearmann Dúlra Choill na hIúraí Uragh Wood seen from the lake Location County Kerry, Ireland Area 80 ha Established 1982 Established: 1982 Governing body National Parks and Wildlife Service Uragh Wood (Irish: Tearmann Dúlra Choill na hIúraí) is an oak wood in Tuosist, County Kerry, southwestern Ireland, which was designated a nature reserve in 1982. The wood covers about 80 ha and is next to Gleninchaquin Lake.[1] It is owned by the state and there is no public access.[2] Since Ireland's adoption of the European Union's Habitats Directive, the wood has been included within a Special Area of Conservation of 1,154 ha called "Cloonee and Inchiquin Loughs, Uragh Wood".
